This was my second attempt at orzo and boy did I find a winner! This would probably work with most pasta but it was so dang good with the orzo I will probably not try it with anything else. I’m just being honest. This recipe is very forgiving as well, just not on your booty. Half a stick of butter in here people! Just a forewarning =]
Parmesan Garlic Orzo
1c Orzo (I may have just dumped the rest of the package in…)
2T Minced garlic
1/4c Parmesan cheese
Dash of salt and pepper
1T Italian herbs
1. Cook orzo according to directions and drain.
2. In pot you just cooked orzo, melt butter and saute garlic for a few seconds, until fragrant
3. Add orzo back to pot and combine it with parmesan cheese, milk, parsley, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper.
4. Serve with my delicious Greek Chicken and salivate as much as I did while it cooked =]
